The Osteen Family: 4 Weeks - Time is FLYING by!!

My sweet baby is four weeks old today! On Thursday, he'll be "officially" one month old - so hard to believe. This past week has been full of new things for little Benton. He is still staying awake longer, he's cooing and making all sorts of noises, and he started sucking his thumb! It's so cute...his thumb is so little that it's amazing he finds it. He has a new love for his paci this week and is able to hold it in longer - especially as he sleeps. He also has started smiling a little bit - and this time, I don't think it's just gas! He will be cooing and kicking around, then, all of the sudden, make a little squeal and SMILE! It's the sweetest thing in the whole world. :)
We had a busy week! Here are the highlights:

Misty Morris came to take newborn pictures last Tuesday. We are SO EXCITED to get them back - for a little preview, look up Misty Morris photography on Facebook, then look at the pictures she has posted. The latest one on there is one of Benton in a guitar case - adorable! Hopefully, we'll get to see the proofs in about another week.
We went on a few more outings - one being to granddaddy's office, where Benton weighed in at 8 lbs 10 oz! A growing boy!!
My cousins from Birmingham came into town - always so much fun to have them here. :) On Friday, Benton got to meet his sweet cousin Sofia and her mommy Robbi Anne and her grandma, Linda!
Benton also got to meet his Aunt Mary, Aunt Sharon, and cousin Erin!!
Friday night, we went over to Rosie and Papa's house to celebrate Papa's birthday.
Saturday, Benton hung out with Daddy, while Mommy went shopping -YAY for Mommy! :)
Mother's Day was busy but wonderful - we went over to Matt's parents' for lunch, then my parents' for dinner. It was such a surreal, special day - still can't believe I'm now in the Mommy club! :)
Monday, Gigi came over and we gave Benton his first real bath...his umbilical cord finally came off and we were able to sit him in the water! He loves to get his hair washed under the water, but he wasn't a big fan of sitting in it - maybe next time. :)
And Today, Aunt Lala came over and we ran errands - Lauren happily sat in the car with Benton while I ran into a few places...and we ate lunch in the Chick-fil-A parking lot. :) See how good I'm being about not taking Benton to public places????

I'll post again on Thursday...gotta have pictures of my baby boy on his first month's birthday!
